P2P orders and disputes

Most P2P orders complete smoothly, but when something goes wrong the dispute system protects the honest side.

When to open a dispute

  • You paid, marked the order as paid, and the seller has not released the crypto within the order window.
  • You are selling, the buyer marked “paid”, but no money has arrived.
  • The amount received does not match the order.

How disputes are resolved

  1. Open the dispute from the order page before the order timer expires.
  2. Attach your evidence: bank statements, payment receipts, screenshots.
  3. An arbitrator reviews the order chat and the evidence from both sides. This is why keeping all communication in the order chat matters.
  4. The escrowed crypto is released to whichever side the evidence supports.

What hurts your case

  • Agreeing to change the price or payment method in the chat after the order opened.
  • Communicating off-platform (WhatsApp, Telegram) — that evidence cannot be verified.
  • Letting the order expire instead of opening a dispute in time.
