How to verify your identity (KYC)

Identity verification (KYC, “Know Your Customer”) is required by financial regulations and protects the platform against fraud. Until you verify, deposits and withdrawals stay locked.

What you need

  • A valid government-issued document: passport, national ID card or driving licence.
  • A device with a camera for the selfie / liveness check.
  • Five quiet minutes in a well-lit room.

The verification flow

  1. Go to your profile and open Verification.
  2. Select your country and document type.
  3. Photograph both sides of the document. Avoid glare and make sure all four corners are visible.
  4. Follow the on-screen liveness check (turning your head, blinking).
  5. Submit and wait — most checks finish in under 15 minutes, although peak times can take a few hours.

Why verifications get rejected

  • Blurred or cropped document photos.
  • The document is expired or the name does not match your account details.
  • Screenshots or photocopies instead of the physical document.
  • Poor lighting during the selfie check.

If your verification is rejected you can retry immediately — the rejection reason is shown in the verification screen.

Palzea staff will never ask you to send documents by email or chat. Upload them only through the verification page.
